Image quality
The Image Access WideTEK 25 is suitable for scanning up to an optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, which is twice that of its predecessor, the WideTEK A2, for exceptional image quality. You can position the document anywhere on the panel and the Image Access WideTEK 25 will automatically recognise its size, deskew pages and remove any black borders. With dynamic data enhancement, substantially enhanced rendition of finer characters is obtained. The high resolution and excellent colour rendition allow character recognition capabilities.
Features
When scanning books, the Image Access WideTEK 25 separates the right and left pages automatically for easier indexing.
For batch processing, productivity can be increased further using the foot pedal: 3 seconds after a scan, you can start the next one. Image compression is performed directly in the scanner to reduce image size and optimise transfer. The quick-view feature is defined with a zoom factor for immediate quality control. You can select the format. The scanner lighting system make it possible to scan without closing the cover. LED technology enables high-speed scanning, since no warm-up time is required. The lights are free from infrared and UV emissions, ensuring document conservation. The Image Access WideTEK 25 is based on Scan-To-Net technology. This minimises the scanner set-up: simply connect the scanner to your network and operate it using your web browser. The scanner merely requires a 100 Mbit TCP/IP network.
Performance
The Image Access WideTEK 25 can scan an A2 document at 300 dpi in 3 seconds.
When connected to a colour printer, it can also be used as a network copier. In view of its speed, it represents an economical solution compared to a copier with the same capacity.
